It's been a very mild winter in Manitoba so far this year so I haven't been able to get out ice fishing very much and the winter roads may not be built at all this year! May 23rd, 2004: The weather and the fishing has been exceptional lately, but the lake is still frozen. We've been hauling groups by snowmobile across the lake to open water at hole #1.
