November 23, 2005: I've just finished adding new videos to the video page, click on the link to see them. It's been a very nice fall, but it's quickly turning into winter here. We'll be on vacation all of next week, but my brother Greg will be answering our phone.
October 20th, 2005: Jodi and I are in the process of setting up an agreement to buy out my parents' interest in Bolton Lake Lodge and Outposts! We don't expect there to be much of a difference since we've been running it mostly on our own for the past 5 years, but it's still a big step for us. August 1st, 2005: We've been experiencing some pretty good weather and some great fishing lately. Two of our biggest fish of the season have been caught lately including a 47 inch Pike and a 39 inch Lake Trout! July 5th, 2005: Another beautiful day up at the lodge today, the temperature should get to at least 75 degrees today! The fishing lately has been quite good, it's a real nice thing to be on a true multi species lake where trophies can be caught in any species including Pike, Walleye and Lake Trout. May 5th, 2005: I took the 185 on floats to Joint Lake yesterday and saw no ice on any lakes until about 50 miles south of Bolton Lake! Kitchi Lake has no ice, Bolton has more open water than we did May 25th last year, Joint Lake is open in the river and along the shore of the main lake, and Aswap is mostly open except in the larger sections. April 20th, 2005: It's been nice and warm here in Winnipeg for the past 3 weeks and the ice has started to melt a lot. The rivers are open and soon I'll be able to land a float plane at Joint Lake where the crew is working on remodelling the cabin.
