July 15: Good fishing today! One guest came in reporting two forty inch Pike within 10 minutes of each other. Another guest caught a 41 inch Pike on his first cast this morning. The weather has been great, a new forest fire started up yesterday, but it looks to be far enough from the lodge. A huge 46 inch Pike was caught yesterday along with a 42 inch Pike. The Lake Trout have been slow, but the Walleye are still hitting.
